This piece is a fabulous neutral with subtle sheen and just enough sparkle to make it interesting.Again, the pendant with its iridescent opal, determined the makeup of the rest of the necklace. I wanted that same kind of subtle shimmer the opal in the heart presented, so I used some brushed silver beads which have a matte surface and yet still gleam, some faceted crystals, the man-made opaline and then a selection of small pearls in shades of silver and gray.
